Man, 26, arrested on suspicion of voyeurism after mobile phone seen held over New Rents toilets in Ashford opposite Lidl and Anytime Fitness

A man has been accused of voyeurism after a mobile phone was seen being held over a block of toilet cubicles.

Kent Police says it is investigating two reports of a device being used in New Rents, Ashford.

Both cases reportedly took place at around 1.50pm on March 28 at the site next to The Orthodontic Practice and opposite Lidl supermarket.

A 26-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on the same date on suspicion of voyeurism.

He has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information regarding the incident, or others similar, to come forward.
