Unsteady however, he falls backwards and only escapes completely hitting the floor after his left foot gets hooked under the lower bar.

With his head touching the ground, he struggles to reach up and around to release his foot.

He remains in the sticky spot until a passing car stops and two good Samaritans get out and come to his rescue.

After he is untangled, the man, somewhat tired from the debacle, is then seen collapsing on the floor, and still on the phone!

The film has been viewed more than 6,000 times after the club - who captioned it "This is hilarious" - posted it last night.

It has been shared a further 157 times.

The man has been branded a "ledge" in one comment, while another calls the stunt "priceless".

Daniel Underwood commented: "It's good to see someone helped him too his feet though."
