Woman arrested on Ashford High Street

A woman has been arrested in Ashford high street after reports of a disturbance.

Shoppers say she was shouting at people as they walked past where she was sat near County Square.

Two police vehicles attended the scene, before officers arrested the woman and took her away in a van.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to a report of a woman causing a disturbance just before 1pm.

"Officers attended the High Street in Ashford and arrested a woman in connection with the incident."
