A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked in the street.

Police are investigating the reported assault in Tufton Road, Ashford, during which the 35-year-old victim was hit in the face by another person.

She was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.

The incident happened outside a home in the road at about 4am on Saturday, April 12.
