Ashford shine again in clubman's championships

ASHFORD AC retained their team and individual titles in the Kent Clubman's Championships. Mark Whittaker just held off Medway and Maidstone's Darren Mitchell in a pulsating sprint finish with the youngster from Newington stepping up from bronze medal position last year.

Medway and Maidstone finished a clear second in the team race with Tim Alexander (13th), Lee McMeekin (16th) and Paul Firmin (20th) scoring the points to support Mitchell.
