Ashford United manager Danny Kedwell has left by mutual consent after eight months in charge.
Kedwell departs Homelands with the Nuts & Bolts 10th in Isthmian South East, seven points outside the play-offs.
He leaves after a run of three successive defeats, with Saturday’s 3-1 loss at Sevenoaks his final game in charge.
A club statement said: “It is with regret that the club announces we have mutually agreed to part company with first-team manager Danny Kedwell and assistant manager Dean Beckwith.
“After discussions, both parties agreed that this decision is in the best interests of the club moving forward.
“Danny joined the club at the beginning of the season and worked tirelessly to build a team from the ground up.
“Despite facing numerous challenges, including an unfortunate run of injuries, Danny and Dean have shown unwavering dedication to the club.
“We would like to place on record our heartfelt thanks to Danny and Dean for their hard work, professionalism, and the positive contributions they made both on and off the pitch.
“They will be greatly missed by everyone at Ashford United, and we wish them nothing but success in their future endeavors. The club will provide further updates to supporters in due course.
Kedwell was named Ashford boss in May after a long search for Kevin Watson’s successor.
Watson was sacked in March, with Alan Walker taking caretaker charge for the final weeks of last season.
Kedwell left his role as assistant manager at Chatham to take over at Homelands, as the choice of incoming new owners Lloyd Hume and Dave Warr.
He led Ashford to the FA Cup third qualifying round – their best run in 27 years – and took them to the FA Trophy first round for the first time since 2003.
Hume and Warr were targeting two promotions in six seasons, with no pressure on Kedwell to bring immediate success to Homelands, but Ashford are now looking for a new manager.
