A Kent club has been making big waves on the competitive trampolining circuit despite their modest size.
Dharma Gym for All, based at Tenterden Leisure Centre and Mote Park Leisure Centre, have enjoyed an outstanding season.
They brought home two gold medals at Level 1 and another two golds at Level 3 at Kent County Level.
Dharma athletes have also impressed at Regional Level with consistent performances and podium finishes.
But it’s on the National League stage where Dharma have truly shone.
Maidstone’s Richard Smith secured gold in the over-18 League 3 competition while Oscar Kerr narrowly missed out on a top-three finish in the League 2 category.
Matilda Hussey, 13, took gold in the 9–14-year-old League 2 disability division, as Pippa Webb, from Ashford, achieved silver in the over-15 League 2 disability category.
The club’s success extended to the English Gymnastics National Disability Qualifier 2 event, held in Telford on Sunday, where Hussey and Webb earned bronze in their respective Silver Disability events.
Hussey and Webb, alongside several other squad members, will travel to Cardiff at the end of June for the National League Qualifier 3 competition.
A club spokesman said: “With just 11 squad members, Dharma continues to defy expectations, going toe-to-toe with much larger clubs at National Level.”
Dharma Trampoline Club trains at Mote Park on Tuesdays from 6pm until 8pm and at Tenterden Leisure Centre on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5pm until 7pm.
The club welcomes all ages and abilities and offers free trial sessions.
