KM Football Podcast 49 - Gary Alexander

With more than 500 league games to his name, Gary Alexander has a playing career to look back on with pride.

We reflect on his wonder goal at Wembley for Millwall in the League 1 play-off final - is it the best goal ever seen at the new Wembley stadium?

Alexander's career started alongside the likes of Ian Wright, Paolo Di Canio and Peter Shilton at West Ham but find out why he thought playing for Exeter and Swindon was his best route into the game.

There's five years of memories at Leyton Orient, including promotion, and three years at Millwall.

Four trips to Wembley saw different emotions - including captaincy - find out how Alexander celebrated defeat and success!

And having played for now Gillingham boss Steve Evans at Crawley, Alexander gives a first-hand account of just what it's like to have him as your manager.

Now turning his hand into management, he reflects on his experience at Ashford United and why it's made him a better manager.
