Isthmian League round-up: Louis Collins’ hat-trick leads 10-man Ashford to victory, Margate and Sheppey score injury-time winners, while Dartford hold unbeaten Premier Division leaders

Louis Collins scored a hat-trick as 10-man Ashford thrashed VCD 5-2 for just their second Isthmian South East win this season.

Harrison Hume struck inside 60 seconds and Collins made it two as the Nuts & Bolts led 2-0 inside eight minutes.

Alfie Evans replied for the Vickers, who found themselves with an extra man after Roarie Deacon’s 38th-minute dismissal for two yellow cards.

But defender Will Moses marked his return from suspension by scoring Ashford’s third and Collins completed his treble with two goals in four minutes early in the second half as United climbed to 19th.

Courtney Barrington scored a consolation.

Faversham continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-2 home win against Beckenham.

Tashi-Jay Kwayie gave third-placed Town an early lead before a spell of three goals in as many minutes around the hour mark saw the hosts emerge with a 3-1 advantage.

They were initially pegged back when George Porter scored a penalty but Kwayie immediately restored the lead and James Dyer added a swift third for the Lilywhites.

Freddy Nyhus scored the Becks’ second with 15 minutes left.

Herne Bay retained fifth spot courtesy of a 2-1 home win against Merstham - despite finishing with 10 men.

First-half goals from Kamani McFarlane and Alfie Bloomfield but Bay in charge at the break.

Joe Alatise was dismissed on the hour and Lee Lewis replied but Liam Friend’s side held on for the win.

Sittingbourne climbed to sixth with a 3-1 victory over Broadbridge Heath at Woodstock.

Michael Salako scored after two minutes, Troy Howard extended the lead before half-time and defender Jack Steventon added the Brickies’ third.

Jake Lawrence denied the hosts a clean sheet when he struck for Broadbridge in added time.

Max Walsh scored an injury-time winner as Margate moved above opponents Eastbourne Town into seventh place with a stirring late fightback.

Aaron Capon’s early goal looked set to be enough for the hosts but Kieron Agbebi levelled on 85 minutes and Walsh made it 2-1 in the third minute of added time as Eastbourne paid the price for having Eliot Jenks sent off.

There was also late drama at Holm Park as Sheppey beat Jersey Bulls 2-1.

Dieko Falade’s second-half opener was cancelled out by James Queree’s penalty but Julien Anau scored a 92nd-minute winner for the Ites.

Deal went down 3-1 at second-placed Three Bridges.

Jacob Strouts pulled a goal back for the Hoops after trailing to Hayden Velvick’s double but Charlie Bennett clinched the points for the hosts.

Dartford claimed a point at unbeaten Isthmian Premier leaders Brentwood.

Samir Carruthers gave the Darts a 55th-minute lead in Essex but the hosts salvaged a point through Charlee Hughes.

Ramsgate came from a goal down to draw with Wingate & Finchley at Southwood.

Former Tonbridge striker Gianluca Botti put Wingate in front with a penalty but Mitchell May equalised before half-time and it ended 1-1.

Dan Ajakaiye levelled midway through the second half as Cray Valley drew 1-1 at Cheshunt.
