Motorists are facing traffic disruption as a spate of gas works started today (June 9).

It comes as several road closures are put in place throughout the month that are expected to affect those living in and travelling around Bexley.

Bexley High Street remains closed until Friday (June 13) for water works, while the Sidcup By-Pass will also shut for a few days at the end of the month.

The Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has found all of the ongoing and planned road and lane closures that will be taking place this month, according to one.network.

Below is a breakdown of those that will be in force in June.

• Esher Close (Albany Park): Road closed from June 16 to July 7 for gas works

• Longmead Drive (Albany Park): Road closed from June 23 to July 4 for water works

• Shoreham Close (Albany Park): Road closed from June 23 to July 14 for gas works

• Stansted Crescent (Albany Park): Road closed from June 23 to July 14 for gas works

• Burcharbro Road (Belvedere): Road closed from June 9 to July 7 for gas works

• Methuen Road (Belvedere): Road closed from June 9 to August 5 for water works

• Picardy Road (Belvedere): Road closed from June 9 to June 12 for unspecified works

• Pinewood Road (Belvedere): Road closed from June 9 to June 20 for gas works

• Poplar Mount (Belvedere): Road remains closed until August 5 for water works

• Sheridan Road (Belvedere): Road remains closed until July 1 for water works

• West Heath Road (Belvedere): Road closed from June 9 to July 14 for gas works

• Bexley High Street (Bexley): Road remains closed until June 13 for water works

• Royal Oak Road (Bexleyheath): Road closed from June 9 to June 13 for roadworks

• Upland Road (Bexleyheath): Road closed from June 9 to June 10 for roadworks

• The Drive (Blendon): Road closed from June 9 to July 13 for roadworks

• Wellan Close (Blendon): Road closed on June 23 for telecoms work

• Mayplace Avenue (Crayford): Road remains closed until June 16 for gas works

• Medway Road (Crayford): Road remains closed until June 16 for gas works

• Budleigh Crescent (East Wickham): Road closed from June 23 to August 4 for gas works

• Exmouth Road (East Wickham): Road remains closed until June 30 for gas works

• Seaton Road (East Wickham): Road remains closed until August 4 for gas works

• Avenue Road (Erith): Road remains closed until June 13 for water works

• Heath Way (Erith): Road remains closed until June 20 for gas works

• Lesney Road (Erith): Road remains closed until September 2 for water works

• Walnut Tree Road (Erith): Road remains closed until July 18 for road improvement works

• Halfway Street (Lamorbey): Road closed from June 23 to July 5 for telecoms work

• Old Farm Avenue (Lamorbey): Road remains closed until June 13 for gas works

• Ash Close (Sidcup): Road closed from June 9 to June 16 for gas works

• Sidcup By-Pass (Sidcup): Road closed from June 25 to June 28 for unspecified works
