Plans for a new electric vehicle charging zone outside a supermarket are among the latest planning applications submitted to a council.

Developers have applied for permission to install a dedicated electric vehicle charging zone in the car park next to Morrisons in Jenner Close, Sidcup.

The scheme includes a single-storey plant room, sub-station enclosure, jet wash area and LV electrical panel, as part of efforts to expand the town’s charging infrastructure.

Two related applications have also been submitted for Roxby House in Station Road, Sidcup.

One seeks non-material amendments to a previously approved change of use allowing 28 self-contained residential units within the former commercial building.

The other proposes modifications to the internal layout, smoke shaft, window design and materials for a two-storey upwards extension to add six further flats.

- New gates and boundary wall alterations in Dartford Road, Bexley.

- Front extension and roof conversion with side dormer in Erith Road, Belvedere.

- Two-house development with first-floor and roof extensions in Valentine Avenue, Bexley.

- Approval of soundproofing and sustainability measures for two new dwellings in Marina Drive, Welling.

- Proposed office use for private hire vehicle operations at Bonners Yard in Bull Alley, Welling.

- Details of bin and bike storage for conversion of first-floor office into a flat in Welling High Street.
