In Bexley, a change of use application has been lodged to turn the ground floor of the former Anthony Martin estate agent’s office in Bourne Road into a tattoo studio.

The planning application states it would give the high street a “fresh business type” and could reflect the growing popularity of “creative, service-led enterprises in smaller town centres”.

Plans have also been lodged to convert office space in Broadway, Bexleyheath, into four homes.
