A body has been found in the search for a 23-year-old man who went missing over the weekend.
Brandon Day, from Crayford, was last seen in the Wandsworth area of London at around midday on Saturday (May 10).
His disappearance sparked pleas for his safe return and his auntie Rebecca Gosling told KentOnline on Monday the family had received a message from him that he had 1% left on his phone battery, but he was still “trying to get home”.
However, a family member has since confirmed the floor fitter’s death, saying he had been found near the River Cray, Crayford.
Stuart Day wrote: “We have just received the news we’ve been dreading.

“A man’s body was found along the River Cray in Crayford. The police have just confirmed that it’s Brandon.
“We’re all devastated beyond belief but are also aware that there are still people out there looking for him so had to make it public.
“I cannot thank you all enough. If only he knew how many people loved him, I’ve been truly humbled.”
