The Sundridge Park Club enjoy successful padel tennis launch weekend

Kent’s first padel courts were full to capacity over the Easter weekend.

The Sundridge Park Club had their newly installed courts ready for a busy weekend and they were full for all three days.

Taster coaching sessions were held for new players and members while regular padel players now have an additional venue to play at. Open to all, It was a successful opening weekend.

Padel is a cross between tennis and squash. Scoring is the same as tennis and is always played as doubles. Serves are made underarm and it’s seen as a great game for the whole family.

One of those playing commented: “It’s much easier to play than tennis.”

The 50% opening discount on court and racket hire remains in place for April and lots more intro sessions, coaching and social play are organised at the Bromley venue.
