There were long delays on the A2 after a crash near the Boughton Bypass blocked part of the road.

The accident, which is believed to have involved three vehicles, initially shut part of the London-bound carriageway between the Canterbury Road junction and Brenley Corner.

The emergency services were called to the scene.

It is not known if anyone was injured.
