Air ambulance lands in Beverley Meadow, Canterbury

An air ambulance has landed in a park near a city centre.

The helicopter landed in Beverley Meadows, Canterbury, at about 9am this morning, in response to a medical incident.

The ambulance service has said it was responding to call out at a private address.

The park is near St Stephen’s Road and Canterbury West railway station.

The helicopter has since taken off and is travelling towards London according to the tracking app Flightradar.

Police have been contacted for further information.
