Police appeal after four hurt in crash on A2 near Lydden

Police want witnesses to a crash which left four hurt.

A little girl was taken to hospital in a serious condition after black Vauxhall Vectra swerved off the A2, careered over a verge and rolled onto its roof yesterday afternoon.

Four of the five people in the car were taken to a London hospital, including a little girl who was seriously injured.

She was flown to King's College Hospital, and remains in a serious but stable condition.

The crash happened on the London-bound carriageway near Lydden at around 1.30pm.

The road was shut in both directions to allow the air ambulance to land. It reopened at 5.45pm.
