Police are appealing for witnesses after vandals targeted several gravestones in Canterbury.
The memorials at a cemetery in Ashford Road, Chartham are believed to have been damaged between Wednesday, January 3 and Tuesday, January 9.
Officers say other nearby incidents could be linked.
Nearby in Brice Avenue on Friday, January 5, the wing mirror of a car was also damaged.
And on the same day in Ashford Road, a garden shed was smashed.
Sergeant Lee Thompson from the Community Safety Unit in Canterbury said: “We are carrying out enquiries and assessing the extent of the damage in the area.
"Whilst we do this we urge residents to get in touch regarding any other incidents of this type, that may not have been reported to us yet.
“We appreciate how upsetting and how costly criminal damage can be for victims and will do everything we can to locate the offenders.”
