CCTV appeal after police car and van damaged in Canterbury High Street

A CCTV appeal has been launched after a police car and van were damaged while parked in a High Street.

The incident happened while officers were responding to an incident in Canterbury city centre at about 4am on Monday, April 18.

Patrols were attending a call, when the two vehicles were damaged while parked near the High Street's junction with Guildhall Street.

Police have this afternoon released an image of a man "they would like to identify and speak to as he may have information which could assist their enquiries".

They are also appealing for witnesses to come forward and call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/71817/22.
