Arrests after stabbing in Canterbury Lane taxi rank

Two men have been arrested following a stabbing in Canterbury city centre.

A 19-year-old and 20-year-old were detained after two other men suffered stab wounds yesterday afternoon during a fight between delivery riders.

A third man was also assaulted during the attack at the Canterbury Lane taxi rank.

The two men, who are from the city, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and were taken into custody.

A fight broke out just after 4pm, with witnesses saying a number of delivery riders were involved.

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward by calling 01843 222289 quoting 46/13697/20.

They are also appealing for dashcam footage from vehicles which were in Canterbury Lane between 3.30pm and 4.10pm.
