Fire crews in Ratling Road in Aylesham after bonfire spreads to building

Firefighters are at the scene of a blaze after bonfire spread to a farm building in Aylesham.

Four four engines were sent to Ratling Road at about 1.35pm.

A spokesman for the fire service said: "About 16 firefighters are tackling the blaze which involves a large bonfire that has spread to a single storey industrial farm building.

"Fire crews in breathing apparatus are using compressed air foam, a main jet and a hose reel jet to fight the fire."
