A popular restaurant building in Canterbury high street is going under the hammer.
The St Peter's Street premises currently home to Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) is set to go up for auction next month.
Although now frequently filled with fast-food eaters, the historic city centre building dates back to the 1910s when it housed Canterbury Electric Cinema - a venue for silent films and theatre shows.
The property is arranged over three floors, spanning 3,543sq ft.
It is being sold through Acuitus with a guide price of £1.1 to £1.2m, and a current rent of £78,550.
GBK - which has more than 60 restaurants across the UK - has the lease until 2034, so will continue as tenant.
The building auction takes place at London's The Montcalm Hotel on December 11.
