A car ploughed into a Domino's Pizza branch in front of horrified customers.
The incident happened at about 8pm last night at the branch in Tankerton.
Witnesses said the female driver appeared unable to stop her car.
A police spokeswoman said: "Kent Police was called to a report of a single-vehicle collision in Tankerton Road, Whitstable at around 8pm on Friday, April 26.
"Officers attended the scene where a car had collided with the window of a takeaway restaurant. There were no reported injuries."
It's believed that the driver was a customer attempting to collect food.
A Domino's Pizza spokeswoman said: “The incident in our Whitstable store took place early evening last night and we are pleased no one was hurt. The driver of the vehicle spoke with police on-scene, and not wanting to disappoint our Whitstable pizza fans, we will open as normal today”
The car was later recovered and the shop remained boarded up this morning.
No arrests were made.
