Canterbury: Two arrested after police discover £15,000 and suspected class A drugs in Dickens Avenue

Two people have been arrested after a substantial sum of cash and suspected class A drugs were seized in a house search.

More than £15,000 was found at a property in Dickens Avenue in Canterbury after a police raid at about 11.40am on Wednesday.

The officers were carrying out a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A 27-year-old woman, from Canterbury, and a 33-year-old man, from Sydenham in London, were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Both have now been released pending further investigation.
