CCTV image released after cash stolen from Canterbury restaurant

Police have released a CCTV image after cash was swiped from a restaurant's till.

Officers say a man entered the business in Canterbury and stole the money from the eatery in St George’s Place.

The theft happened on Monday, April 14 at about 9pm.

A police spokesman said: “An investigation is ongoing, and initial enquiries have led to the recovery of CCTV of a man police would like to identify.”

Police have been asked for confirmation about which business this was.
