CCTV image released after pensioner's handbag stolen in Primark in Canterbury

Police are trying to trace a woman captured on CCTV after a pensioner's handbag was stolen in Primark.

The victim, aged in her 70s, was shopping at the store in Canterbury's Marlowe Arcade at about midday last Tuesday (June 23) when her bag was reportedly taken.

The red handbag contained cash, a bank card, keys and bank documents.

Police investigating the theft have now released a CCTV image of a woman they believe may have information that could help with their enquiries.
