Dead animals dumped in Canterbury near entrance to St Martin's Hospital

Dead pheasants and a rabbit have been dumped in a hedgerow outside an entrance to a hospital in Canterbury.

The animals were spotted by passers-by this morning outside St Martin's Hospital, in Littlebourne Road - one of the main routes into the city.

In a sick and peculiar act, the dead creatures are in a clear view for all.

An upset city resident cannot understand the animal killer's motives.

"It's really shocking to see for anyone going past," she said.

"Why would someone stoop so low and do that? They've purposely put them in clear view.

"People have obviously been out during the lockdown hunting.

"I want to get them removed and have been trying to get through to the council and Serco, but haven't got anywhere.

"I wouldn't mind having to do it myself but not in the current lockdown situation.

"It's horrible that anyone would do this."
