Drivers have been told to expect delays following a crash between a van and a motorcycle along a busy main road.
Police were called to the collision along the A2 Boughton Bypass, close to Brenley Corner in Faversham , just before 4.15pm.
Officers and paramedics are still at the scene, which is regularly used by motorists travelling to and from Canterbury , dealing with the incident.
KentOnline understands that the motorcyclist may have suffered minor injuries during the crash.
Eyewitnesses say a lane has been closed on the Faversham approach and Kent County Council's highways team is warning commuters that their journeys could be extended as a result.
