Domino's pizza delivery driver in Canterbury given warning after streaming music video

By Lydia Chantler-Hicks

A pizza delivery driver has received an official warning after he was spotted streaming a video while driving.

Footage shows the Domino's pizza delivery man driving in the Upper Bridge Street area of south Canterbury, while a video appears to play on a phone attached to his windscreen.

Domino's claims the man was streaming a music video.

Since the footage of the incident - filmed by the shocked passenger of another car - emerged, the pizza giant has taken disciplinary action against the delivery driver.

Domino's spokesman Rhiannon Berriman said: "Following an investigation, we understand the delivery driver was listening to music through a video streaming service on this mobile, for which he has received an official warning.

"We have taken this opportunity to remind our delivery drivers to act responsibly at all times in accordance with Domino’s safe driving policy to ensure this does not happen again."
