Easter weekend set to be warmest weekend of the year as temperatures remain high across Kent

Temperatures are set to almost top 20C across the county this Easter weekend.

The Met Office is predicting warm weather throughout the rest of the week and then on to Monday.

With today's average temperature in Kent being 15C, the mercury will continue to rise as the chance of rain stays below 5%.

Sunday looks likely to be the warmest of the days, with highs of 19C in Maidstone.

It could potentially be the hottest day of the year so far, while temperatures on Monday hit the slightly lower heights of 16C.
