There is severe disruption to train services due to multiple incidents across the Kent railway network.
Passengers travelling via Maidstone East, Canterbury East and Dover Priory are all facing delays this morning.
Trains were unable to run between Faversham and Dover Priory after a body was found on the tracks near Canterbury East railway station.
Southeastern tweeted about the incident shortly before 9.30am today but the line has since reopened.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the line near Canterbury East railway station at around 9.19am today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Passengers can use their tickets at no extra cost on the Stagecoach routes 12 Canterbury to Deal and 15 Canterbury to Dover.
It comes as another railway line was shut after a body was found on the tracks.
The stretch between Folkestone and Dover is expected to remain shut until about 6pm, according to Southeastern, and is impacting trains travelling into London and to Ramsgate.
Meanwhile, a train broken down between Charing and Ashford is impacting services running along the Maidstone East line.
A rescue train will need to attach to the broken down one to clear the line.
Passengers can use their ticket in highspeed services via Ashford.
