Wayne Stirrups from Canterbury is missing

Family and friends of a father of two are growing increasingly concerned after he went missing from his home on Thursday.

Former Chaucer school pupil Wayne Stirrups, 30, lives in Sturry Road in Canterbury but the last time he spoke to his family he said he was going to Cardiff where his sons, six and three, are currently living.

They have not heard from him since.

His brother Jason has appealed for help in a Facebook post, which has been shared nearly 3,000 times.

In the post, he said: “My brother, best friend and a great dad has not been since Thursday.

“This is the last way I ever wanted the brilliant bloke to go viral but I need to know where he is and that he is safe.

“Please. I urge you all to share this countrywide. He loves to make friends and could be anywhere. Please let’s find him.”

Mr Stirrups is 6ft 2, of slim build and has light brown hair.
