Fifth arrest after suspected murder at Brotherhood Wood caravan site, Dunkirk, near Canterbury and Faversham

A fifth man has been arrested after the suspected murder of a young man at a caravan site.

Police were called to the Brotherhood Wood caravan site in Gate Hill behind the Gate Services on the A2 at Dunkirk, between Canterbury and Faversham, at around 7.05pm on Sunday.

On arrival, a man in his 20s was found with a serious chest injury and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

KMTV's report on the incident last night

Four men were arrested at the site on suspicion of murder. Two men - one in his 20s, the other in his 30s - have now been released without charge.

The two other men, aged in their 30s, remain in police custody while the investigation continues.

Police have now revealed a fifth man - who is in his 40s and is from the local area - was arrested yesterday.
