Fire crews in Ashford Road, Canterbury tackle bonfire in back garden

Firefighters have tackled an out-of-control bonfire in a back garden.

Three fire engines rushed to a property on the A28 Ashford Road, Canterbury, just after 5.15pm yesterday.

Crews used a hose reel and buckets of water to tackle the blaze - which had spread from the bonfire to a pile of dry grass and wood in a neighbouring garden.
