Four teenagers have been charged with robbery after a man was reportedly attacked.
Police were called to the alleged mugging near Whitefriars shopping centre in Canterbury after witnesses spotted the 20-year-old allegedly being assaulted by a group.
The victim, who reported a phone and a bag were among several items stolen from him, needed hospital treatment but has since been discharged.
The incident took place on Sunday, October 19 at about 8.10pm.
Police say it is understood one of the suspects is known to the victim.
Officers found three suspects soon after arriving at the scene and they were arrested within five minutes of the call.
A fourth teenager was arrested at their home 36 hours later.
Milan Gazi, 19, of Clarendon Street, Dover; Kevin Chomjak, 19, of Channel View, Folkestone; Reece Marshall Kelly Johnson, 19, of Chart Road, Folkestone; and Jaroslav Jarkoz Gazi, 19, of Napier Road, Dover, have all been charged with robbery.
All four suspects were remanded in custody and appeared before Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 21.
They have since been bailed and will appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, November 24.
