Fourth arrest after man found by Canterbury Academy running track dies in hospital

A fourth person has been arrested after a man found unconscious in a school field died in hospital.

The victim was discovered with a serious head injury, near to the running track at Canterbury Academy, in the early hours of May 26.

Paramedics rushed to the scene in Knight Avenue, Canterbury, and the victim was taken to a local hospital, but he died three days later.

Three men, all believed to be known to the man, were later arrested in connection with the incident.

Police have now confirmed a fourth man - a 33-year-old who was also known to the man who died - was arrested in connection with the incident, on July 20.

All four have been bailed until August 19.

As part of their investigation, forensics teams spent hours at a bungalow in New Dover Road on May 27.
