Canterbury: Police investigate robbery in Guildhall Street

A man in his 20s was found unconscious after a robbery in a busy Canterbury street last night.

Two people discovered the lifeless man in Guildhall Street at around 11.30pm, and when he became conscious he reported his wallet containing cash and bank cards had been stolen.

He was taken to hospital and police are now investigating.

Officers want to speak to a man who was seen near to the scene and may be able to help with their enquiries.

He is described as white, 6ft, wearing cream trousers and a light blue shirt.
