Multi-Brit Award nominated John Newman has set up home in Kent.
The 'Love Me Again' singer, who was born and brought up in Yorkshire, has recently moved into a property between Canterbury and Herne Bay.
He's been chatting to Garry and Emma on kmfm breakfast about life in the county, although admitted trying to have a big night out in Canterbury was harder than he had anticipated.
He said: "We tried going into places in Canterbury at 2am and everyone were like, 'no you're not coming in'.
"My uncle was getting out of the car and saying 'I've got John Newman in the car, can he come in?' and they were like 'no you haven't mate, you're lying' and no one let us in!"
And while he hasn't been able to spend too much time at the property since buying it six months ago, he reckons he'll be checking out the nearby area soon.
He said: "My brother got me a course down in Whitstable on how to prepare fish for my birthday, which is pretty cool."
At the age of just 25, John's already sold more than six million albums worldwide and been nominated for British Male, British Single and British Video at the Brits.
His new single Come And Get It is released today.
