Long delays after crash on A2 near Canterbury

Traffic is queuing on a main route after a single-vehicle collision.

Police were called to the crash on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 near Canterbury shortly after 2.30pm.

Traffic is queuing on the Boughton Bypass from Upper Harbledown this afternoon, according to reports.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called to a report of a single-vehicle collision at 2.42pm today.

“Officers are attending the scene on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 near Canterbury.

“No injuries have been reported.

“Work is ongoing to recover the vehicle and clear the road.”
