Canterbury Burger King reopens after month-long refurbishment

Burger King in Canterbury has reopened following an extensive refurbishment.

Having been shut since the end of September, those pining for a Whopper in the city have had to patiently wait.

Now offering free wifi, the St George's Street branch has had a modern makeover across both floors.

Customers paying by card can now do so from a touchscreen ordering machine, before going to the counter to collect their meal.

The dated exterior and furniture inside has been spruced up - with the fast food outlet now having a wooden-style theme.

A drinks machine for customers to fill their cups with fizzy drinks has been installed near to the counter.

The city centre Burger King is the sole branch in the Canterbury district.
