Man, 85, treated for smoke inhalation after kitchen fire in Canterbury

Firefighters helped an elderly man, who was caught in a kitchen blaze in Canterbury.

Crews were called to the home in Fisher Road just before 6.30pm last night.

They saved an 85-year-old man from the home and treated him for smoke inhalation after the cooker fire.

He was then put into the care of ambulance crews.
