Canterbury: Man arrested after collision on the A290 at Blean

A man is still in custody after a collision this morning on the A290 at Blean.

The 33 year-old from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash involving two cars in Honey Hill.

There were no serious injuries, however the road was closed by police for nearly four hours.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 5.27am following a two-car collision on the A290 Honey Hill, Blean.

"Officers attended and a road closure was in place until about 9am. No serious injuries were reported.

"A 33-year-old man from Canterbury was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and remains in custody."
