Canterbury: Man dies at Wincheap Esso

A man died after collapsing at a petrol station in Wincheap over the Bank Holiday.

Police were notified of a medical incident at the Esso garage just before 4.30pm yesterday.

They supported paramedics who were tending to the man, but he died at the scene.

Reports online suggest he was with his son and that he was given CPR before ambulances arrived.

His next of kin have been informed.
