A man suffered slight burns after a shed blaze which spread to a conservatory.

Crews were called to the fire in Wingham, near Canterbury, shortly before 3am.

Two fire engines were sent to the property and tackled the flames with hose reel jets for more than an hour.

One man require treatment and was passed into the care of paramedics for slight burns.

It’s believed the blaze may have been started by an electrical fault.

Crews left the scene at 4.34am.

The ambulance service has been contacted for more information.
