Man taken to hospital after stabbing at house in Spring Lane, Canterbury

A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at a house.

Multiple police cars and ambulances were called to Spring Lane, Canterbury, at about 9pm yesterday.

The emergency vehicles were seen parked between Barton Manor School and the Fyndon House flat block next to Russet Road.

Police have confirmed a 36-year-old man suffered stab wounds.

A spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to a report of an injured person at an address in Spring Lane, Canterbury, at around 9pm on Monday 12 May 2025.

“Officers and paramedics attended the scene where a man was treated for injuries consistent with stab wounds.

“He was taken to a London hospital for further medical attention.

“A 36-year-old local man was arrested in connection with the incident and an investigation is underway into the circumstances.”

The man’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
