Harley Davidson rider injured in A2 motorbike crash at Womenswold, near Canterbury

A motorcyclist remains in a serious condition after crashing with a roadside barrier on the A2.

The man's black and silver Harley-Davidson collided with the barrier at the slip road for Womenswold, near Canterbury, at about 10.40pm on Saturday.

The biker, aged in his 60s, was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as serious but stable.

Police are working to establish the circumstances of the collision, and are appealing for anyone who saw the motorbike in the moments leading up to the incident, or who have dash cam footage from the area at around the time, to contact them.
