Canterbury: McDonald's delivery service launches for customers in Sturry

McDonald's has launched its delivery service in Canterbury for the second time.

Burger and fries lovers living within 1.5 miles of the Sturry Road branch can - as of today - order fast food straight to their front door.

Customers can choose from the chain's breakfast and lunch options at the tab of finger via the online app UberEATS.

The McDelivery service is available every day from 8am until midnight.

It comes after Canterbury's city centre branch in St George’s Street launched the service in October last year.

McDonald's bosses hope the opening week will prove popular thanks to the tens of millions of people expected to watch the final stages of the World Cup this week.

Since being launched last year, more than one million customers have ordered a McDelivery in the UK.

Customers can follow the progress of their delivery as the bicycle or motorcycle courier makes their way from door-to-door in a target of under 30 minutes.
