Person injured in 'fall from height' in Canterbury's Dane John Gardens

A person has suffered head injuries after falling from height at a Canterbury park this afternoon.

Emergency services - including the air ambulance - were called to the Dane John Gardens just after 3pm where they found a person in their 40s with multiple injuries caused by a fall.

It is not clear where the person fell from, but an ambulance was spotted near the bottom of Dane John Mound, and a responder car at the entrance to the park.

Police officers appeared to be searching the park, according to eyewitnesses, bit this has not yet been confirmed by Kent Police.

An eyewitness said: "Several police officers were about, presumably helping in the search for someone, and at one stage a police car pulled up behind the ambulance."
