Canterbury: Police appeal after man taken to hospital with serious injuries in A28 crash in Sarre

Police are appealing for witnesses of a crash which left a man with serious injuries.

He was taken to a London hospital after a white Audi and white Mercedes Sprinter van collided on the A28 near Upstreet and Sarre.

Two others were also injured and taken to a local hospital.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses of the crash, which happened at about 6.40am, to come forward.

Motorists travelling into Canterbury suffered long delays following the crash and the road did not reopen until 4.30pm.
