Police called to disturbance near McDonald's in St Georges Street, Canterbury

Two police cars, a van and several officers have been called to Canterbury high street.

They are parked up outside McDonald's near Whitefriars following reports of a disturbance.

A spokesperson from Kent Police said: "Officers were called at 4.32pm to reports of a disturbance on St Georges Street, Canterbury.

"Officers attended the scene and inquiries into the circumstances surrounding this disturbance are ongoing."
